Dr. Todd Hill (owner and operator of LEO Training and Consulting Group) is an experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the law enforcement industry.  Skilled in law enforcement concepts, specifically in tactical response to threats, firearms, force on force scenario based training, and respective Constitutional and case law, his focus is on proper instruction and training of officers in order to protect the officers, the agency, and the community they protect.  Todd is a sheriff's office captain with over 28 years of law enforcement experience in patrol, investigations, and corrections.

A strong military background is complimented with higher education.  Todd served in the United States Marine Corps infantry for over four years, deploying to Saudi Arabia and Mogadishu, Somalia in the early 1990's.  Todd has earned:

• Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership from Oakland University
• Masters Degree & Graduate Certificate in Information Security from Eastern Michigan University
• Bachelor of Science in Criminology/Criminal Justice from Eastern Michigan University

Formal Police Leadership training includes:

• Federal Bureau of Investigations National Academy (FBINA) - Class #285
• Northwestern University Police Staff & Command School - Class #432

Additional specialty training includes certifications as a Law Enforcement Security Assessment Specialist, a Forensic Computer Examiner and an Evidence Technician.  

Todd is a Use of Force Instructor and is a presenter at ILEETA (the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association) Conference and the Michigan Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Conference, holding instructor certifications in numerous disciplines:
